Anyway, my name is Ravi Jayagopal, and I used to host with HostRocket for a long time (about 5+ years).

In the last year or so, I've noticed a huge dip in their overall hosting service.

Extraordinary amount of down time, very poor security, un-announced upgrades, having to re-start servers, poor technology (terrible sub-domain and multiple-domain strategy).

Enough was enough. I've since then rescinded my recommendation of HostRocket, and am hosting most of my high-traffic, primary money-earning web sites with DreamHost.
